Background

Before the war, Elivia had a fairly normal childhood. Her family was rather well off before things went downhill. El and her sister had everything they could ever ask for.

 

Elivia and her family had a very rough time during WWII. Her mother relocated the family to the Netherlands in hope that it would be safe from the Nazi invasion. However in 1940, The Netherlands was overrun by the Nazi's and towards the end of the war, life for her family had been incredibly brutal. The Germans took most of the pitiable rations of the Dutch, leaving her and her family to starve. To help out her family, Elivia would play the piano and sing at several pubs to try and earn her family some extra money. With that, she grew to love the piano, further boosting her career to what it was in the future.

She continued to do so until the war had ended and furthered her career of being a pianist and a singer by the request of her parents and her own doing.
